Effective administrative practices support transparency and openness, which creates an environment in which program quality and positive youth development are most likely to occur and be sustained. In this session, we will explore administration best practices by breaking down the Minnesota Afterschool Accreditation Program (MAAP) Administration Quality Standards and Indicators. Participants will better understand the importance of exercising these best practices in order to build a high-quality afterschool program, and leave with ideas for program implementation.
